Oh dear..Oh dear.

Why is that that so few can spoil it for so many? I switched off the TV after the game last night so I wasn't aware of what had taken place until a friend mentioned it when I got back from Glasgow this morning.
As blame is apportioned by one side or another no-one seems to be able to take responsibility for their own actions.
This is endemic of the age we live in....it's always someone else's fault. It is true other factors may be involved but in the end our actions or re-actions are our choices.
We seem to live in a world full of angry people and it doesn't take much for that anger to spill out. Then there are those who just get high on violence, it has the same effect on them as drugs. This is found particularly in the gangland culture of today.
I am so glad I am nearing towards the end of my life and not at the beginning, because no-one has any answers any more.

Football is not my 1st choice in sport but I have certainly caught the atmosphere today. Good luck to Rangers tonight.
I hate it when I get one of those phone calls which starts of with the words," Your name suddenly popped into my thoughts as I realized we haven't seen you at church for ages"!! It's the kind of remark that stops you in your tracks and you pause for a moment wondering how to respond....more than a moment actually....it seems like an eternity as you grapple for words!
Do you tell the truth or do you make some lame excuse?
However you respond you are left with the feeling that someone is tapping your shoulder and you should feel that THAT someone still cares.

A sea of blue and white.

My journey north was quite amusing today as the thousands of Ranger supporters headed south, almost made me want to turn back and join them!!
Two hectic, emotional days have past and now I am back home, feet up trying to switch off from all the people and events. There were some funny moments, loosing Dougie being one of them!!
Another major disaster makes me think of the book I am reading....better not get too paranoid!!!.
I see Mr Darling has the answer to all our prayers....just borrow more money....good example!!

The headlines in today's Mail on Sunday rendered me almost speechless, why I am not sure because I should be used to lies and dirty tricks from Labour. However surely this is a lie too far if what the Mail says is true...I say 'if' because so far the BBC news on-line is not actually carrying the story.
So according to the Mail, Wendy has said her statement last week was just a bluff!!!....some bluff. She has done yet another U- Turn....I think she must be quite dizzy by now. If this is indeed true does it not have serious implications for the credibility not only of Labour but indeed politics in Holyrood?
Can a leader of a party come to the chamber, announce a major policy change then turn round and say "I was bluffing"?
Can this possibly be legal?
She has deliberately misled her party, The Scottish Government and the people of Scotland.
She has buried Labour....not a bad thing come to think of it!
Not sure what she will say today she obviously hasn't had her morning coffee chat with Jackie Baillie yet!!!
As the Mail say's 'it's kitchen politics'

Never throw anything out when Ray is about!....we have gone green....I mean veggie green. Everything in sight is full of seedlings even this old table friends were getting rid of.

The moral of the story being if you come to visit do not take your shoes off or stand still too long!!!
Tomorrow I head South for a couple of days.
